Executive - MIS

About the Role

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a leading finance company and a subsidiary of Bank of Ceylon, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Executive – Management Information System (MIS).

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing MIS reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Understanding of banking, recovery, operational process & Data Presentation, manipulation according to the requirements of the management.
• Work on data and generate various types of reports independently.
• Maintain high level data analysis and accuracy.
• Good communication and analytical skills to support decision making.
• Should be able to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.

Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level.
• A Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Business Management, Management, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognised university/institution will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 2 - 3 years' relevant experience, including experience in MIS Reporting, MS Excel, and generating Dashboards.
• Excellent MS Office skills, with the ability to process reports in a presentable format.
• Proficiency in Macros, SQL and Visual Basic (VB) would be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, MIS and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented and adaptable to change.
• Committed to high standards, continuous learning and process improvement.
• Maximum age limit: Below 35 years.
