Production Executive

About the Role

Asian Paints Causeway is seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Executive to join our Manufacturing team in Panadura. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient production operations, maintain high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shop floor production and packing activities to meet quality, safety, SOP, and production targets
• Assign daily tasks and manage workforce productivity, discipline, attendance, and manpower utilization
• Monitor machine usage, process adherence, tool control, and overall operational efficiency
• Coordinate cross functional teams to have a small production operation
• Execute and maintain accurate ERP production transactions, including month‑end system closures
• Track and report key production KPIs such as output, efficiency, downtime, and losses
• Maintain documentation and ensure readiness for audits, traceability, and system compliance
• Support continuous improvement, Kaizen, QRI initiatives, and compliance with QMS, EMS, and Environment, Health and Safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years in manufacturing, or a similar field
• Sound knowledge in MS Office package and ERP systems
• Practical exposure to SAP ERP system will be an added advantage
• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
• Practical exposure in Lean Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen will be an added advantage
